Yes, I realize it has been awhile since I have posted but I am sure all who read this know why--work--a toddler--and trying to keep our head above water. Bob traveled a lot in November but December looks like he is home most of the month. October was a fast month! Thomas was in Lacee's wedding and did a fantastic job in his little tuxedo. And now November is over. Where does the time go? We went to Louisiana for Thanksgiving although Thomas was not feeling well. We drove all the way home on Saturday--9 hours and Thomas was GREAT! I could not ask for a better child. I have posted some pictures of October and November. We did do some fun stuff. Dinosaur Valley State Park was a big hit. Halloween was fun-- Thomas was a t-rex if you cannot tell. In Louisiana we went to Global Wildlife Center with the grandparents, Tio Michael, Tio Jeff and Isabelle which was quite fun. Thomas did not want to feed the giraffe but I did.
Hope all is well with everyone!

September--where did it go?
Where did the month go? I guess since school started back time has really been going by faster. We have not been doing too much. We went to ride Smart this weekend and just getting ready for Fall--my favorite time of the year. Last weekend we went to the ranch rodeo and chuckwagon cook off. It was fun and tasty. Thomas really liked all of the horses and roping. We also went to a football game. He sat down and stretched and clapped just like the big boys did. He is actually pretty good at throwing his little football. Not much else going on. I am starting to collect pumpkins and decorating which is always fun.

September 08
The first of September started out with me turning the big 4-0. Bob was gone so Thomas and I just hung out at home. I did get flowers and a balloon from Cody and Belle. Thomas really liked the balloon. He would let it go in the house and yell for me to get it. I also got some nice emails and phone calls. School is in full swing now. Thomas and I are both adjusting well. Bob is helping tremendously by taking Thomas to school and picking him up when he is here. Thomas got a Gator for my birthday and is driving it all over the place. He and Bob spent a weekend at Lometa (John's deer camp) which is about 2 1/2 hours away. They had a great time and I really do not think they missed me at all--well maybe Bob did. They are ready to go back. Then Thomas got a trampoline given to him. Talk about big fun. He jumps and twists and for a 2.5 year old I have to say is doing quite well on it. It will just help with his coordination. He is also having fun playing football with his daddy as you will see in the video. I think we have a quarterback on our hands.
LOOK OUT MOM I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP!

August in a flash
Well August just flew by and it is already mid-September. We spent a weekend in Oklahoma celebrating Mady Belle's birthday and visiting everyone before school started back. We also spent some time riding Smart--well Bob and Thomas did. I was busy getting back into the swing of working. I must admit it took a few weeks to get back in the groove. We spent Labor Day weekend at Possum Kingdom lake. We stayed at The Cliffs and it was fun. We just hung out, ate great food and played at the pool or on the beach. We also went and found the Ratto's and went for a boat ride. It was a short but very nice weekend.

Aren't they cute!

Wow--I even got in a picture.

The rest of July
July was a busy month for us. My buddy Elizabeth and her family came back to Weatherford for a couple of weeks to visit. It was great to see them and especially Randi the baby. We tried staying cool for the rest of the time with pool time. We went to Oklahoma for "cousins camp" which was quite an experience--especially for Nana Al and Papa. All 10 grandkids were at there house and camped out. Most everyone stayed all night except for Thomas and Mady Belle. There was also trips to ride Smart. At the end of July our friends from Okie, the Burdens, came for the weekend and we had a blast. Thomas especially enjoyed spending time with "Bariah" aka Mariah and racing Doyle.
I also had some school workshops I attended while Thomas got acclimated to his school which was challenging for both of us.

The Playground
After we got back from the beach, Bob started building Thomas a playset. Thomas calls it his playground and tells Bob "I love it, you make me happy." Is that not the sweetest thing in the world! It only took Bob a couple of days to build and Thomas is already having a lot of fun on it. He still needs to add a climbing rock wall with a rope but for now it is play-slide and swing!
