Sea World

We took the plunge and went to Sea World San Antonio last week. We had a ton of fun and got to see some family too. Thomas, Bob and I went to SW on Thursday. We saw the sea lion show, checked out the kid playground and saw the Shamu show (or Shampoo as Thomas calls him). We figured a couple of hours was fine and we were right, Thomas was asleep before we got out of the parking lot.

Friday we went back exept this time cousin Isabelle, Tia Sandra and Tio Jeff went with us. I was smart this day and rented a double stroller. We saw the Clydesdale horses, fed the dolphins and headed to the penquin exhibit. It was really neat. Then on to see Shamu. Once again Shamu was a big hit. I must say I was impressed as well. We only stayed a couple of hours again but that was enough. Back to the hotel for a nap and swimming. The lazy river and big pool were a bit chilly but did not seem to bother most of the gang. The kid pool was great and Thomas met some cool kids.

Friday evening Bob's parents arrived. We had a big dinner with everyone and some other friends from San Antonio, Tad, Lupita, Nicholas, Marianna, and Andriana also came. It was good to get to visit with everyone.

Sea World was great and we will probably go again.

Big fun and a special visit!

Thomas and I have been going to Kindermusik class. A couple of weekends ago there was a party. We really had a great time riding the pony, Princess and visiting with all of our friends we have made. Music class was a huge success. Thomas loves to bang on the drums and sing all of the songs and he especially loves to play the harmonica he got.

Thomas shaking his bells--up high.

SPECIAL VISIT
Tio Elliott had a layover at DFW last Sunday afternoon so we went to the airport, picked him up and found a shady spot. It was a special visit since we do not get to see Elliott very often.

Come on Tio--let's go!

Fun at home

We have not been doing too much lately. We are having a fence built and thinking about putting in a swimming pool. We are looking forward to swim lessons this summer. Thomas and I are still going to music class and the library. I did start back playing tennis and am having a wonderful time. Just a few pictures of what is going on at the Taylor house.

Thomas brushing his teeth before bed. He has been pulling a tote up to the sink and washing his hands (about 10 times a day) but he does dry off the counter when he is done.

Thomas shooting hoops. Look at that form. I think he will enjoy sports. He loves to play basketball, soccer, football--well any kind of ball.
Thomas hitting the ball off the tee. Looks like a home run to me.

Family outing

A couple of weeks ago we went to Shaw-Kemp Ranch just south of W'ford. The ranch is open only one weekend a year and usually the bluebonnets are exploding but this year they were only in a few spots. It is still a beautiful place with a lot of history. A cabin that was built in the 1800's is still standing with period furniture. They also have music and several other buildings that make up a little town. It is a nice place to go and spend the day and the weather was beautiful.
