Trip to the edge of Texas--Muleshoe

Where in the world is Muleshoe, Texas you ask? It is at the very west edge of Texas--30 miles from Clovis, NM. It is quite a drive from Weatherford (5 1/2 hrs) but we made it. Thomas and I went to visit my very best buddy Elizabeth and her family over spring break. She is having a baby in a couple of weeks so we went out to do a little baby maintenance. Although she is quite capable of taking care of children--she has 4 already this is the first one she will actually give birth to (the others are adopted). We had a wonderful time visiting and playing at the park. The Mexican food was good too, especially the breakfast burrito.

These are pictures of the boys at the park. They had a really good time.

Snow in March

We knew the weather could still get bad in north Texas but snow in March? We were just enjoying 60 degrees yesterday and now snow. I guess anything can happen with this crazy weather. It was pretty coming down--mostly sideways since the wind was blowing. I told Thomas it was snowing snowballs because the flakes were so big. And of course we had to get out in it. Thomas did not want to come in but his little cheeks and hands were red. I guess when you are having so much fun the cold isn't a factor.

I took this picture when I took Mole out. It was really cold.

Thomas having fun pushing his tractor through the slush.

This is what happens when a 2 year old eats pudding all by himself and then smears it in his hair. Too funny.
