Halloween

We did not go too far from home for this Halloween. Brenda and Doyle's church set up a "Trunk or Treat" where the adults decorate the trunks of their cars and the kids can come by and get goodies. It is a great idea. Thomas dressed up in a bear outfit. It was hard to believe he left it on as long as he did.

Thomas "the bear".

Mariah--the princess and Thomas.

Thomas getting goodies from Doyle--or should I say Festus. His pickup was decorated as a covered wagon. I think Doyle was born in the wrong era.

Thomas and Ace.

Brenda had her Suburban decorated like a spider web. She and her matching spider on top were too cute.

Hayride and pumpkin carving

The weekend before Halloween the Taylor, Burden and McFarland families went on a hayride. We started at our house and went to the pecan bottom of Doyle and Brenda. We had a cookout and then carved pumpkins. We had a great time!!! Bob's parents surprised us by coming early and making it for the activities.

Loaded up and ready to go!

Nana and her grandkids.

Mama Kay, Brenda and Mariah smiling pretty for the camera.

Tia Carrie and Thomas.

Tom and Sandra enjoying the great outdoors and good food. We were glad to see them.

Bob and Thomas having Thomas' favorite thing to eat---CAKE!!!

Adam and Carrie starting to carve on their pumpkin.

Adam getting a little help carving Cody's pumpkin from Thomas and Cody.

Ace, Bobby and Mama Kay trying to decide how to carve their pumpkin.

Doyle was concentrating very hard while Brenda thought his pumpkin carving skills were too funny.

Thomas helping Bob with their pumpkin.

Tom and Sandra came prepared with the surgical kit to carve their pumpkin--I think they broke the rules breaking out that professional set.

Thomas is now helping Mariah. Mariah was my partner but she did most of the work while I took pictures.

Well the pumpkin carving was a great success. They all looked great! Love the Dorito ears, Ace.

Cody showing off all of the great looking pumpkins.
