We are officially back in Texas. We arrived here Dec. 16 and unloaded the U-Haul with a lot of help from our local friends--thanks again to all of you that helped. We enjoyed our house for a few days and headed back to Oklahoma for another load and to celebrate Christmas with my family. Saturday Dec. 22 was spent at my sister's house eating dinner and opening gifts--of which there were way too many as usual. Thomas really liked opening his gifts. Cody, Thomas and Belle helped each other open everyone's presents. Sunday morning we went to my Dad's house. Another eventful day was had by all. There are 10 grandkids under the age of 8 and it was WILD! We then loaded up to come back to Texas. It has taken Thomas a few days to get used to the new house but I think he has finally found his way around. He loves his play room and the pantry. We had a quiet Christmas here and really enjoyed it.
Doyle, Brenda and Mariah brought Smart (the horse) down on Saturday. It was great to see them even if it was a short visit.
We stayed home on New Year's eve. New Year's day Bob and Thomas went to Dave's to see Smart. Thomas helped Dave feed round bales by operating the buttons on the hay spike. I think they will spend a lot of time at Dave's.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and wish you the best in 2008.
